Membership Rules FAQ

Joining Canada Bay Club is easy—visit the club to sign up with reception (no forms needed), or apply online and finalise your membership on arrival.

Membership options: 5 years for $11, 3 years for $5, or 1 year for $3.30. We recommend the 3-year membership, which includes 500 points ($5 value) to use immediately.

Renew your membership easily at reception for one or five years.

If your card shows the current year, renew before 31 July to keep your points and membership number. Otherwise, you’ll become an Associated Member and won’t be able to attend AGMs or vote for two years.

If you’re visiting and you live within a 5km radius of the club, you need to either join the club, be a member of another registered club with similar objectives, or be signed in by an existing member of Canada Bay Club.

You must be over the age of 18 years to become a member at the Canada Bay Club, minors are welcome to visit if in the company of a responsible adult.

Gem Points are not transferable to other members.

No, Gem points cannot be exchanged for cash.

Gem Points can be redeemed at Reception for a variety of Gift Vouchers, they can be used for food and beverage purchases and may also be used for Club activities.

Gem Points will be removed at the end of financial year review 1 July of each year, therefore points must be redeemed.

P2P will be removed at the end of the financial year review 1 July of each year.

If a member unfortunately passes away during their membership tenure, points will be removed. Points and rewards including discounts cannot be claimed by any other person.

Tiered levels will be reviewed monthly to tier up and annually to adjust tiering level.

Only the member whose photo is on the card can use the card to apply to any of the above requirements. A member cannot pass their card to another member or related party to use on their behalf this includes participation in promotions, to redeem points or to make purchases.

Community car

The community car is an affordable and convenient way to get to and from the Club. All proceeds are donated to charity!
